DENVER – An ordinance being proposed in Denver would allow public marijuana use in commercial areas and other controlled environments, but the ordinance has a long way to go before it becomes law.The proposed ordinance will be subject to a comment and review hearing with the city attorney’s office Wednesday afternoon. After that, proponents of the ordinance must get a petition and collect the required number of signatures to get the measure on the November ballot.
